Journey to USA

Today is 20 January 2009 and it's the 20th day since I arrived in US here... From the moment I left my house, I already prepared for everything that might happen to me and I need to face it all no matter how worst it is and how difficult it is.. Luckily my friend Siew Rui accompany me during the flight to US and its was a long long journey. We countdown in Singapore Changi airport and hang around until morning 7.20am where our next flight to Japan...we reach Singapore since 10.30pm and it was so boring as there's nthg to do in the airport. After that, we reach Japan on the next day and had some really "nice food" in the plane...the omelette was as hard as stone.."walao le....how to eat??" Siew Rui says that and I just laughing there. Once we reach Japan, we went to McD and had some lunch and the McD really expensive and cost around 12 USD for 2 sets of burger but seriously it was more nice and different from Msia. After having 20 minutes lunch, we walk around in the Japan-Narita Airport and wandering around as it was more boring than Singapore-Changi airport. We walk walk walk untill it time for us to get onboard to the next flight, it's to Chicago-O'hare international airport. This flight takes around 11 hours from Japan to Chicago and it was indeed a tiring journey. Besides me sat a Korean Professor that teaches in Grand Valley University and It's in Michigan State. He warn me abour the weather in Michigan and I believed it once I step in to Michigan where I am now. There's snow everywhere and it was slippery....and extremely cold!!!! We eat and watch movie in the plane...and the sits in United airways is extremely torturing!!! At last, after 10.30 hours later, we reach Chicago and we quickly took our staff and rush to the Security Check Point and there's many may people lining up... Chicago is the place where Siew Rui and me had to seperate..she will be heading to Nebraska while I will continue my journey to Michigan. From Chicago airport to Michigan tooks only 40 minutes and by the time I reach airport it'a already 9.40pm 1st January. No one came after I waited for 2 hours...and I just had to sleep in the airport untill someone come and pick me up.Luckily, the staff in the airport was nice and they're very friendly. Next Morning, 7am. There came a Middle east guy and pick me up, he apologise because the guy that suppose to came last night went to NY and that was so irresponsible. He took me to McD and ate my Breakfast and drove me straight to my University dorm. Once I reach, I just place my luaggage under my bed and straight away slept for 10 hours. That's my Journey from Msia to USA...luckily there's nthg bad happen on me...
